I coach actors for auditions. I also coach actors who want to study acting privately. A beginner wanting an understanding of what it is to act before taking classes; or an experienced actor who wants an hour devoted to them to further develop their technique. I give the actor a script ahead of time; they work on it and bring it in having done the best preparation they know how. I coach on video so they keep a tape of their acting along with my critique and instructions of how to make and deliver stronger acting choices. The actors then review their tape at home and continue learning.

This is based on the principles in the book but geared for you individually - what works for your particular needs. I critique pictures and resumes, help you choose clips for your demo reel, steer you toward teachers, photographers and services specifically suited for you, as well as guide you on long and short term goals. If you wish, I will also send you a script ahead of time so you can prepare it and test your audition skills. Phone coaching for actors outside of
Los Angeles $60 for a half hour phone consultation, payable by credit card when time is scheduled by telephone. We can talk about how to prepare to make the move to our area. Where to look for housing. When is the best time to move here? Why make a scouting trip? Anything you want to discuss.
